Hello All,
I am here to write a thing on Medical industry. I have nothing against anyone and neither is this article scolding someone. So please no hard feeling.
I am starting this with the saddest incident of anyone's life - losing someone you loved the most. Despite so much advancement in technology and medical science,day-in day-out we hear cases of mis-treatment,wrong diagnosis and over medication problems. Here is an imaginary situation in India - You are suffering from cold and immediately you rush to doctor. He prescribes you some medicines, blindly you take them and you should be well soon. But the cold instead of stopping and seems to increase along with fever overhead. You run to same doctor again. He prescribed blood test to you and meanwhile asked you to take some other medicines. When blood reports arrive, they are seemingly normal. But since your fever is still persisting, doctor again changes your medicines and prescribes some other procedural tests. Now the final report shows some other problem. Your doctor calls you and changes your medicines again. So, you landed up eating not suitable medicine twice in the process.
1. Always consult a certified doctor before taking any medicine. Also promptly listen to your doctors.
2. Never consume outdated medicines and medicines without prescriptions.
3. Ensure the doctor is giving you suitable medicine only after all the necessary tests have been made, at least a blood and urine sampling.
4. Make sure you are aware of and have well stated your symptoms.
5. Better opt for a second opinion before taking any major decisions on health and medicines.
6. Never ever mix two types of medicine like Ayurveda and Homeopathy. And wait for the medicines to take its time to effect.
7. Have an awareness for the major disease symptoms and be constant vigilant.
8. Never delay for taking medicines. Never skip any course in middle.
9. Make sure you enquire about the possible side effects of the medicines given to you. Make a small research on the content of the medicines given.
10. Eat health hygienic food and avoid junks.
In the matter of health, Prevention is truly better than cure. But sometimes it is unavoidable. Make sure you have taken good care of yourself. Eat Healthy, Eat Sufficient, Stay Fit...
Please Take Care :-)
Keep Smiling :-)
With Loads of Love,
Maddy.

Now I wouldn't have had a question otherwise but then each medicine that you consume will have side effects. Logically, some side effects can be negligible. But what you have consumed to supplement your body defense mechanism might internally start a chain reaction, which is not controlled by anyone. So if that were the case, wouldn't you agree with me when I say, you might not be aware of the cons of medicine? Medicines are tested before they are in market, but are they tested on humans or on apes? Are all the test cases ensured before manufacturing? There are no properly maintained documents for any laboratory experiments. From a layman perception, all these things are opaque matter and too technical to understand. So what should a layman do other than depending blindly on doctors?!Here are some tips from my side to a commoner.
